Welcome back family and friends. Our highlight this month was definitely the second week of April—spring break/Easter/General Conference all in one! We rented a 9 bedroom house in Destin and 5 families (17 children) all stayed in it together! Wasn’t as crazy as it sounds or could have been. Everyone got along really well (some people were surprised because we had a lot of strong personalities in the house)! But everyone did their part to cook (each family took a night to make dinner for everyone) and keep the place clean. It didn’t hurt that the weather was literally perfect the entire week, so we were rarely all in the house. :-) Major props to Scott for finding the house, and figuring out the algorithm that determined how much everyone owed.

Just before both Taylor, and Jackson got stung by a jelly fish. We took the afternoon off and went to see Cinderella (which was really good!)

We listened to one session of General Conference on Easter morning with the kids, but even with the smarties and conference bingo it was hard to really focus (as you can imagine). So since then I have been trying to listen to 1 talk a day (-----------------------------------), and they are so good this time around, I’ll probably listen to them a second time.

4 doctors appointments at one time!?! Luckily Dr. Pip always fits us in. We are blessed with a $5 co-pay, we might have to stay at BCG just for the insurance! It feels like one of us is always at one type of doctor or another.
Soccer season and baseball season are wrapping up. Jackson is back in his hitting grove (for all those who were worried) :-) He made the allstar team and will most likely make a tournament team. So more baseball ahead of us, but we really enjoy it, and have made some close friends over these last couple of years.
It’s interesting, we put so much time, practice, and money into baseball. However,we spend zero time outside of scheduled practice working on soccer and Jackson might be a little better at soccer than he is at baseball. We (me, Scott, Jackson, my parents) just don’t like the sport as much. I have only been to 1 game! Just interesting when possibly their best sport, isn’t their favorite sport.
Taylor doesn’t dislike sports but doesn’t love them eithe
She was a little entrepreneur this month, selling rocks painted like the Earth on Earth Day. Daddy was so proud, and she made $17! She kept racing into the house, grabbing more paint, and exclaiming “I can’t keep up, the demand is so high!!!”
I got to go on a girls weekend this month which was nice. We went up to my parent’s lake house. We talked, played tennis, talked, made a camp fire, talked, got in the hot tub, talked, ate good food, and then talked.
And since my mom was in Bermuda with her sisters celebrating her (and her twin Laura’s) 60th birthday,
Scott and my Dad held down the fort! (thanks for helping Dad). Grant for one, loved the activity of choice: Tiny Town. He has asked me to take him back every day since. “Mom, I was crushing.” (in his deep voice referring to the race car races)

Requests a parfait every morning for breakfast!
Grant has been waking up super early—and waking everyone else! So a friend told us about this clock that turns green when it is okay to come out of your room in the morning. It has been life changing! He is so proud each morning that he played quietly until the light turned green (7am).
Scott is now heading out to Bentonville, Arkansas each week, so you can probably guess his client!
His last case ended in a disaster. He had a young, fairly incapable team, and when he left for the week of spring break—everything hit the fan.
When he got back, he scraped up the pieces the best he could, then started his current project, which fortunately is going much better.
